Tower enlists Business Wales’ help [Press Release]

Neath-based company Tower Fire Ltd has called on the help of Business Wales, the Welsh Government’s free business advisory service, to help it develop and implement a marketing strategy for the business for the next few years which will help it promote its latest offering – the new service free P50 fire extinguisher.

Business Wales has also been working with the company to provide vital help with cash flow forecasting, business planning, and has also provided specialist exports advice.

Tower Fire Ltd was started in May 2013 by fire professionals of 28 years, following a rebranding of their former company Fire Training Wales which had been operational since 2005.  The company is forecasting a healthy turnover of £150k this year, rising to £650k next year.  It employs 15 professional fire trainers on a sub-contractor basis as well as a sales team and has four full-time staff.

The company says the revolutionary new P50 fire extinguisher can tackle any fire in the workplace – including wood, paper, plastic, flammable liquids, and electrical fires.  According to Tower Fire organisations which install the P50 could save themselves on average £250 per fire extinguisher per year over a ten year period and also reduce the number of fire extinguishers needed by approximately 30-40%.  More importantly, it says, the P50 can help to save lives by eradicating decision paralyses about picking the right fire extinguisher to use.

The P50 requires no servicing for ten years, is low maintenance, has a 20 year lifespan, it’s certified to British Standard EN3, and is non-corrosive and 100% recyclable – reasons, according to Tower Fire, why the P50 presents enormous benefits for Welsh businesses and organisations.

Director Martyn Williams said

“We’ve been extremely impressed with the advice and expertise provided by Business Wales.  The support has enabled us to focus on implementing a clear business strategy to ensure the continued success of the business.
